You can often find taxis all along the Golden Zone Ave. The first taxis you will probably notice are the open air Pulmonia taxis. These golf cart look-a-likes can offer a very memorable way to experience traveling from point A to B around the city. You can ride around and experience the sounds However, if it’s air conditioning you crave, the Pulmonia taxis might not be the best option for you.
The Mazatlan bus system is a good way to get around if you’re on a budget and don’t mind taking extra time to get around the city. The green colored buses all go up and down the Golden Zone Ave and stop at all of the marked bus stops. The buses run from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. You will generally be charged around 4.00 to 4.50 pesos for your fare, but will never be charged more then 7.50 pesos.
